Introduction

merge-gate is a Claude Code function-hooks mod that holds gh pr merge, shows CI and Codex progress on a band, and asks Hold or Merge anyway when not ready (holds if nobody answers).

Rules: requires one codex review with model="gpt-5.6-luna" (editable in source); refuses a second review and any codex exec; refuses reviews when ~/.codex/config.toml points at local Ollama.
Commands: /gate status; /gate rerun reruns failed CI.
Needs: signed-in gh and the Codex CLI.
