NoneIntroduction
browser-lanes is a Claude Code function-hooks mod that shows above the prompt whether this session is attached to a Playwright browser and who holds a shared profile, and makes subagents in one session take turns with the browser.
- Setup: run Playwright MCP with
--isolatedso sessions do not share one Chrome profile. - Commands:
/browserfor status;/browser cleanlists other sessions' Chromes and closes the ones you pick (Chrome only, never the Claude process). - Conflicts: on “Browser is already in use” it can ask, close the blocker, and retry; the session's browser closes when the session ends.
Marketplace hamzafer/claude-code-mods, plugin browser-lanes. Needs Claude Code 2.1.287+ and Playwright MCP. Mentioned in issue body, not the formal list. Preview is illustrative.
Who it is for
- People running multi-session or subagent Playwright work who hit browser-in-use conflicts
Requirements
- Claude Code ≥ 2.1.287
- Requires a Playwright MCP setup; prefer --isolated.
- Closes Chrome only; never ends the Claude session.
