Goal Meter is a Claude Code function-hooks mod for /goal. Its own task tool has Claude split the goal into S/M/L tasks and mark them started and done. A band above the prompt shows the bar, elapsed time and an ETA at this goal's pace; the footer shows a short percent. /goals opens a pane with this chat's tasks and other chats' goals from the last 12 hours. You can hide the band, enable strict mode (no file edits before a plan exists), or clear. Data stays under ~/.claude/mods-data/goal-meter/. The author says it sends no model requests of its own and makes no network calls. Requires Claude Code 2.1.287+. Same progress niche as plan-progress and savvy-progress, but a separate repo. MIT. Preview is illustrative.
