Introduction

Claude Clickable Paths is a Claude Code function-hooks mod that, when drawing assistant replies and slash-command output, turns backticked paths, absolute/~/ paths and file links into file:// links, then opens them with open (macOS) or xdg-open (Linux) on click. Display-only; the stored transcript is unchanged. Local-only, no network, no file writes; reads HOME and the cwd for relative paths, and runs uname once. Needs Claude Code 2.1.287+, macOS or Linux, and an OSC 8 hyperlink terminal. Preview is illustrative.
