AK Cockpit is a Claude Code mod that puts an AgentKit cockpit band above the prompt.
- Context. After each main-thread turn it shows context fill and how much the last turn added. At the handoff threshold (75% by default, set with
handoffPercent) the reading turns red, a toast fires once per crossing, and a Handoff button runs/ak:handoff. Nothing is blocked. - Plan. It follows the most recently changed
plans/*/plan.md, parsed withak plan parse --json, and shows the current phase and checked tasks. Pressing it opens a pane with all phases and the open checklist items.
Requires the ak CLI on PATH and the ak:handoff skill, so it mainly suits AgentKit users. The author states it makes no network calls and writes nothing. UI strings are in Vietnamese. No minimum Claude Code version is stated. Scores are calibrated from docs, not run-tested.
Who it is for
- Claude Code users who drive work with AgentKit plans
- People who want to hand off before context fills up
