About this mod
peon-ping adds voice and visual notifications to Claude Code and other coding agents. When a configured event occurs, such as task completion or a request for attention, it can play a character line from your chosen sound pack. For Claude Code, the integration uses hooks.
Make it your own: follow the author's installation and hook-registration instructions, then select sound packs and notification settings. You can choose which events should notify you or pause the sounds when you need quiet. The actual voice depends on the selected pack.
Check your environment: audio playback, desktop notifications, and remote setups vary by platform. The code is MIT licensed; sound assets have separate rights. This text preview illustrates events rather than reproducing the project's audio demo.
