Introduction
Pac-Man is a Claude Code mod from claude-code-templates (aitmpl.com) that puts a game of Pac-Man above the prompt.
- The full game: a 19×15 maze, four ghosts that chase, scatter and flee, power pellets, three lives, faster levels and a tunnel row.
- Ghosts like the originals: red chases, pink aims four cells ahead, cyan mirrors red through you, green chases far and flees near.
- Controls:
/pacmanopens it; click the maze for the keyboard; arrows or WASD steer, Space orppause, rrestarts, Esc returns to the prompt;/pacman stopcloses. - Auto pause: pauses when Claude's turn ends; the best score stays in the plugin store.
- Zero tokens: the mod answers every key itself and never asks the model.
Install with npx claude-code-templates@latest --mod games/pacman, which writes it to .claude/skills/pacman/. Requires Claude Code 2.1.287+ and an interactive terminal with mouse reporting; nothing draws in the desktop app or claude -p.
