Introduction

Agent Flow, from claude-code-templates, is a function-hooks mod. /agent-flow opens a pane showing the main loop's context window and every subagent as a tree in spawn order; select one to see the context handed down, what it did (requests, context size, output, last tools) and the answer it returned. It docks beside the transcript in fullscreen (≥110 columns) or sits above the prompt otherwise, and shows counts in the status line while open. It only observes events. Install with npx claude-code-templates@latest --mod ui/agent-flow. Author notes mods are on by default in 2.1.287+; developed and tested on 2.1.282.

Who it is for

  • Heavy subagent users who want to see each agent's context

Requirements

  • Claude Code ≥ 2.1.287
  • Installed via npx claude-code-templates into a trusted project.
  • Fullscreen layout needs a terminal at least 110 columns wide.
