Introduction
Next Steps Supervisor is a function-hooks mod from ModSmith. After a turn that ran a non-read-only tool or 8+ tool calls, one $.model.fork asks: what was the goal, was it met (yes/partly/no), where were corners cut, and did it do anything needing approval. The verdict is drawn above the prompt with next-step buttons that send the step as your next prompt (hotkeys n, m). The fork stays out of the main transcript; the band shows real token counts. /supervisor toggles it (persisted), /supervisor now checks immediately. No minimum version stated.
