What it accesses

Reads
YesReads turn completions, the language setting and LANG vars, and volume and fish count from the plugin store.
Writes files
YesCompiles a track-reading helper into ~/.cache/lofi-radio and saves volume and fish in the plugin store.

Introduction
lofi-radio is a Claude Code mod that brings Claude FM, Anthropic's 24/7 lo-fi stream, into Claude Code. Unofficial and fan-made.
- One click: a
♪ Play Claude FMbutton above the prompt, or/lofi;/lofi stopstops. Audio only by default, no browser tab. - Player pane: drawn like the stream, with dotted mountains, a pine line, drifting water and Clawd fishing from his boat; the current track, a listening timer, and one fish for every Claude turn that finishes while it plays.
- Controls: play/stop (
p), volume (j/k), an always-on-top mini video window (m). - Ask Claude: the mod gives Claude a
lofitool, so "put on some lofi", "turn it down" or "what's playing?" work.
yt-dlp resolves clau.de/radio to the live stream and ffplay plays it; a macOS Vision helper compiled locally reads the track name off the video, about 20 MB an hour. English and Turkish UI.

Requirements
- macOS only; needs brew install yt-dlp ffmpeg deno, with yt-dlp kept current.
- Track names need the Xcode Command Line Tools; no Claude Code version stated.
