Introduction

jev-memory is a Claude Code mod that remembers the preferences you state in prompts, without forking an agent.

  • Judging: after each answer it splits your prompt into up to 6 sentences and asks Jev, through treg, in one request: lasting preference or one-off task? Sentences at 0.8 or higher are saved verbatim to .claude/jev-memory.md, with a toast and a coin sound.
  • Recall: saved lines go into the first message of every later session; a memory file committed to the repo is skipped.
  • Band: lines remembered, turns judged, cost, and the last turn's sentences with Jev's score.
  • Commands: /jev-memory lists, /jev-memory forget <n> removes.

The author puts a short prompt at about $0.00002. Typed prompts leave your machine via treg to OpenRouter and Jev's provider. Requires Claude Code 2.1.287+ and a signed-in treg CLI.
