Introduction
Haunted Repo is a Halloween-flavored Claude Code function-hooks mod: when Claude deletes or heavily cuts a file, a ghost appears above the prompt whispering leftover lines; restoring the file lays it to rest. Includes /graveyard, /seance (talks via Haiku, so it issues model requests), /exorcise, and easter eggs. It reads deleted file text for whispers and tracks ghosts in session/plugin state. MIT. Preview is illustrative.
Who it is for
- People who want Halloween flair when files vanish, and don't mind occasional seance tokens
Requirements
- No numeric Claude Code minimum stated; site baseline is 2.1.287+ function hooks.
- For fun; seances consume model calls.
