Code Quest is a Claude Code function-hooks mod that turns a coding session into a light RPG. A band above the prompt shows level, XP bar, latest reward and current quest; level-ups and achievements toast. XP: read +5, modify +10, passing test command +25, git commit +30, quest complete +250. /quest shows full status and achievements; /quest set <objective>, /quest complete and /quest abandon manage the quest. The first non-slash prompt can become the objective (up to 60 characters). Progress lives in plugin storage with serialized updates so parallel tool calls do not lose XP.
