Introduction
clawdhouse is a Claude Code function-hooks mod that puts a pixel Clawd on a stage above the prompt or in a side pane. About forty moods follow session, turn and tool events—thinking, reading, editing, testing, building, committing, browsing, waiting for approval—then cheer or sulk when a turn ends and nap after ~90s idle. Sprites are drawn in code with no image assets. /clawd switches stage/pane, hides him, or previews moods. Same companion niche as Cozy Clawd and clawd-band, separate repo. Built and tested on Claude Code 2.1.286; early-access hooks; no hard minimum stated. MIT. Preview is illustrative. Moods include thinking, reading, writing, testing, building, committing, surfing, serving, delegating and sleeping after idle time. The desktop app steps frames in the hooks module when client animation is unavailable.
