Reads

Introduction
Clawd Buddy is a Claude Code function hooks mod (v1.4.0) that puts Clawd, Claude Code's pixel mascot copied pixel for pixel from the logo, in the mod band above your prompt.
- Acts out Claude's work: thought dots while thinking, a page while reading, a run while a command runs, a magnifying glass while searching, and a little laptop with code bubbles while editing. The caption shows only the file name.
- Celebrations and clicks: answers that took over 5 seconds end with a party or fireworks; in the terminal, clicking makes it hop and wink, and it is never picked up by text selection.
- Chat:
/clawd chatopens a chat pane and speech bubbles. It defaults to haiku;/clawd modelswitches to sonnet, opus ormain(a fork of the session). Chat stays out of Claude's conversation and calls a model with your own Claude account. - Game mode:
/clawd gameturns the band into an offline-dinosaur-style runner; best score persists. - Music mode (macOS 14.2+ with Xcode command line tools only): builds a small helper that reads system audio loudness and beats, never the microphone.
- Desktop app: a pixel bay city that follows local time; clicking is terminal only.
Apart from chat it calls no model and uses no network. Requires Claude Code 2.1.287+. The repo has no LICENSE file and declares no open-source license; listed per the site owner's decision. Not tested by this site; the preview is illustrative.
