Please install the Claude Code mod "Token Optimizer Status Bar" (https://github.com/alexgreensh/token-optimizer). Before installing, read the Security and Requirements sections of its README and tell me what it reads and writes, which commands it runs, whether it uses the network, and which Claude Code version, OS and terminal it needs. If everything looks fine, run claude plugin marketplace add alexgreensh/token-optimizer and claude plugin install token-optimizer@alexgreensh-token-optimizer, then remind me to run /reload-plugins in my session.Send this to Claude Code so it reads the author’s instructions before installing.

Introduction
Token Optimizer is a token-optimization suite for Claude Code (audits, compression, checkpoints, dashboard). Its function hooks mod is the status bar above the prompt in the Claude desktop app (desktop/token-optimizer-desktop/hooks/register.tsx, loaded via modules in the plugin's hooks/hooks.json); this entry covers that mod.
The bar shows one sentence about the most urgent issue with at most one button; five marks (quality grade, context fill, estimated cache countdown, 5-hour and weekly limits) with hover cards; an unfoldable row with branch, session time, tool calls, compactions, last checkpoint, 30-day savings and a Full dashboard link; and buttons for Clean up, Start fresh and a manual Keep warm refresh that uses a little usage. Clawd acts out the session, and the band can shrink to one line.
Needs Claude Code 2.1.287+ with mods; desktop app only (the terminal keeps its status line; no VS Code). The same plugin also installs many Python command hooks and needs Python 3.9+; run /token-optimizer once after install. Licensed under PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 plus a small-business permission, not an OSI license. Scores are docs-calibrated, not run-tested; preview is illustrative.
