About this mod

Tinted Claude Code converts Base16, Base24, and Tinted8 schemes into Claude Code custom themes. It suits people already using Tinted Theming in a terminal or editor who want consistent colors across their tools.

Two forms: the repository provides static JSON files that can be copied directly, plus Node.js scripts that print theme JSON. Static files do not need Node.js. The script form can compute additional shimmer and diff colors. Tinty integration is also documented for managing themes alongside other applications.

Before using it: the project requires Claude Code 2.1.118 or later. Choose the installation path that matches your environment. Readability depends on the selected scheme, terminal background, and font. The color values in the preview come from the Ayu Dark example in the README; it is not a screenshot.

Who it’s for

  • Developers already using Tinted color schemes
  • People aligning terminal and editor appearance
