Introduction
Claude Code Roof Mod is the sample function-hooks mod in this tutorial repo (roof-mod/). On Claude Code 2.1.287+ it hooks prompt.attachment, prompt.context and prompt.compose to silence some engine reminders, rename template phrases, drop the CLAUDE.md preamble, and rewrite worker identity lines. The author skips the external-channel “NOT from your user” safety reminder and only edits origin.kind === 'engine' text. There is no marketplace—load with --plugin-dir or CLAUDE_CODE_PLUGIN_DIRS. A read-only probe-mod lists section names. Editing the system prompt can change behavior; review the code. MIT. Preview is illustrative. Prefer reviewing the sample before silencing reminders that matter for your workflow. The probe mod in the same repository helps list section names after upgrades.
