About this mod
Playwright MCP is Microsoft's browser-automation MCP server. It exposes Playwright capabilities to Claude Code and other MCP clients, allowing an assistant to open pages, inspect structure, find controls, and interact with a browser during a task.
How it sees a page: the project emphasizes structured accessibility snapshots rather than relying only on screenshots to infer positions. Browser tools also include screenshots, while available operations depend on configuration and the page itself.
Before using it: install the Node.js and browser environment required by the project and connect the server to Claude Code. Accessibility structure is not a complete visual review, so inspect the rendered appearance too. Give automation a clear scope.
