Please install the Claude Code mod "optimAIzr" (https://github.com/blendbunjaku/optimaizr). Before installing, read the Security and Requirements sections of its README and tell me what it reads and writes, which commands it runs, whether it uses the network, and which Claude Code version, OS and terminal it needs. If everything looks fine, run claude plugin marketplace add blendbunjaku/optimaizr and claude plugin install optimaizr@optimaizr, then remind me to run /reload-plugins in my session.Send this to Claude Code so it reads the author’s instructions before installing.

Introduction
optimAIzr is a Claude Code mod from the optimAIzr CLI that puts what your session costs where you work.
- Spinner and band: the turn's cost so far and your 5-hour window on the spinner; above the prompt, how long the window lasts at this pace and when it resets.
- A line under each answer: the turn's cost, requests and window change; a switched turn leads with what it saved.
- Cache countdown: past 50K tokens, the last 15 minutes before the cache expires count down, with a toast at 5 minutes and the next message's cost after.
/optimaizr handoff: Claude writes a three-line note while the cache is warm; after/clearthe next conversation starts from it.- Switches: model or effort swaps you accept with Y in
optimaizr liveapply from the next request;/optimaizr offgoes back. - Retry guard: the same command failing twice unchanged is held once and Claude is asked to change something.
/optimaizr hud opens gauges in a pane. The author states Claude Code 2.1.287 or later.
Who it is for
- People watching per-turn cost and the 5-hour window who want to spend fewer tokens
Requirements
- Claude Code ≥ 2.1.287
- Model and effort switches need the optimaizr CLI (npm) running optimaizr live.
- The author's tests last ran on 2.1.286, which needed the early-access flag.
