Introduction
reply-markdown is a Claude Code mod from the NeonCoat repo that takes over how Claude's replies are drawn in the terminal:
- headings in graded colors; lists, task lists, quotes and rules in color;
- GitHub alerts (
> [!NOTE],[!TIP],[!IMPORTANT],[!WARNING],[!CAUTION]) as colored boxes; - framed tables, and code fences as cards with a copy button.
Table and card borders (round, single, bold) and an enabled switch live in /config. Colors are hard-coded to the author's dark theme.
There is no marketplace: clone the repo and point CLAUDE_CODE_PLUGIN_DIRS in ~/.claude/settings.json at mods/reply-markdown. Files load live from the clone, so a broken edit breaks every session's UI. The author last ran it on Claude Code 2.1.296 and states no minimum; the README lists macOS. The repo's reply-media, skill-router and status line are not part of this listing.
